Founded in 2018 by Adejisola Atiba, CNP is more than a professional network — it is a movement advancing leadership, equity, inclusion, and cultural preservation across the Nigerian-Canadian community.

Empowering Professionals Through Inclusion and Mentorship
CNP’s flagship initiative, The Power of Inclusion (POI), has become a national platform amplifying conversations around diversity, innovation, and equity in Canada’s professional spaces. Beyond events, CNP’s mentorship and leadership programs have supported more than 2,500 mentees, equipping newcomers and established professionals alike to navigate Canada’s competitive landscape with confidence.
Through its mentorship structure, the organization bridges generations — empowering the next wave of Nigerian-Canadian leaders and reinforcing that representation and access are key to sustainable success.
Preserving Language, Culture, and Heritage
CNP’s commitment to cultural preservation is evident through its language schools, where over 1,500 students have studied Yoruba, Igbo, French, and Mandarin. These programs help young Nigerians in Canada remain connected to their roots while developing global fluency, ensuring that cultural identity continues to flourish across the diaspora.
The council also celebrates culture through storytelling initiatives, essay competitions, and heritage events that reinforce pride in Nigerian identity.
Investing in Families and the Future
Beyond professional growth, CNP invests in the holistic well-being of the community. Its coding and financial literacy programs, settlement coaching, and bursaries have had measurable impact — with more than 500 families receiving aid and over 60 students awarded scholarships across Canada.
By providing educational resources and mentorship, CNP continues to build bridges of opportunity for new immigrants and second-generation Nigerians alike.
