The Black Entrepreneurship Alliance (BEA) has reached an exciting new milestone with the announcement of a $2.4 million investment from the Government of Canada through FedDev Ontario. Built through the powerful collaboration of the Black Creek Community Health Centre and the York University TD Community Engagement Centre, the BEA provides vital resources, mentorship, and opportunities to support entrepreneurs in the Black community.

Proven Impact to Date

• Since its launch, the Black Entrepreneurship Alliance has:

• Supported 136 entrepreneurial ventures

• Generated more than $46 million in revenue

• Created 989 new jobs

• Raised over $7.3 million in capital

These results highlight the critical role BEA plays in fostering economic equity and ensuring Black-owned businesses have access to the tools needed for long-term growth.
