Championing African Culture in Canada
Ama Ata Koranteng, based in Edmonton, Alberta, is an artist and cultural advocate preserving African traditions through art and storytelling. Her organization, Cultural Echoes, curates workshops on traditional crafts, drumming, and oral history for younger generations. Ama Ata’s work has brought African traditions to schools and community centers across Canada.
