Thousands have attended the funeral for Ugandan Olympic marathon runner Rebecca Cheptegei who was killed by her ex-partner in Kenya. She was buried with full military honours in her family’s village, where a politician said many were to blame for ignoring Cheptegei’s domestic abuse.
